With a combination of championship links & inland courses together with some very fine clubs that boast first class on-site accommodation this region offers offer something for everyone. The Belfry in the heart of England is renowned for its several time hosting of the Ryder Cup, whilst Royal Porthcawl, Royal St Davids and Aberdovey on the Welsh coast offer some great links golf. Add to these a selection of some great venues at which to stay and play, including Ryder Cup candidate Celtic Manor, and you have a fine selection from which to choose.

1 De Vere Mottram Hall Hotel & Golf Club
An excellent course, first class accommodation, extensive conference facilities together with other activities combine to make Mottram Hall a perfect venue for either a golfing break or a corporate event.

2 The Belfry
Several time venue for the Ryder Cup matches, The Belfry offers 3 top quality courses together with first class accommodation and extensive conference facilities. Ideal for both personal and corporate golf, an opportunity to play where the world's great players have trodden the fairways.

3 Edgbaston Golf Club
Set in the very heart of England just 2 miles from Birmingham City centre Edgbaston Golf Club offers a haven of tranquillity amidst an ocean of activity. A mature parkland course that was founded over 100 years ago combines with an imposing Georgian clubhouse to provide an excellent venue.

4 Marriott Forest of Arden Hotel & Country Club
A championship golf course that has hosted European Tour events together with a further 18 holes and a first class Marriott hotel combine to offer an excellent venue for both individual and corporate golf & golf breaks.

5 Tewkesbury Park Hotel Golf & Country Club

Ideally situated for the Cotswolds, Tewkesbury Park offers an excellent parkland course complemented by a tastefully extended Victorian manor house that provides quality accommodation and doubles as the clubhouse. Ideal venue for a golfing break.

6 Marriott St Pierre Hotel Golf & Country Club

7 Celtic Manor Hotel & Golf Club

8 Royal Porthcawl Golf Club
Tiger Woods suffered a very rare defeat at Royal Porthcawl at the hands of Gary Wolstenholme in the Walker Cup. A classic championship links course set right on the shore with an ever present Atlantic breeze.

9 Aberdovey Golf Club
In different eras both Bernard Darwin and Ian Woosnam have been captivated by this classic links that first saw golf being played in 1880. A traditional layout of out and in the course wends its way through the sand dunes and ever present Atlantic breeze being both a foe and a friend. Worth the journey!

10 Royal St David's Golf Club
Set in the shadow of the imposing Harlech Castle, built in the 13th century by Edward 1st of 'Braveheart' infamy, Royal St Davids is rated by many as the world's hardest par 69. A classic links course with hardly 2 holes going in the same direction, well worth the journey!

11 Hawkstone Park Hotel & Golf Club
