Course Information / Course Map

Whilst both Scotland and Ireland boast many top quality courses it is often forgotten that the coast between Blackpool and the Fylde has the highest concentration of quality championship links anywhere in the British Isles. This 35 mile stretch of coastline includes the 3 Open Championship venues of Royal Lytham & St Annes, Royal Birkdale and Royal Liverpool not forgetting of course such wonderful courses as Hillside, Formby and several more.

On the eastern side of the region is the home of the English Golf Union at Woodhall Spa together with the highly rated Forest Pines, which has excellent on-site accommodation. Ganton, undoubtedly one of the finest inland courses in the British Isles, sits somewhat alone in North Yorkshire, whilst for those seeking somewhere to play on a journey up to Scotland then Silloth on Solway is definitely the pick. We have highlighted some 20 courses and we are confident that you will be happy wherever you choose to play. The Open Championship venues are always very busy and times are limited to accommodate their own members' requirements. Early booking is strongly advised for all of the courses, we would recommend that your golf be organised before travel & accommodation.
