From Thorpeness in the east across to The Belfry, which is actually in the West Midlands, this region has some very fine venues at which to play.
A string of classic links courses on the north Norfolk coast, a hidden gem at King's Lynn and the wonderful complex at Woburn together with some other excellent courses provide options to suit every occasion.

1 King's Lynn Golf
Club
King's Lynn Golf Club is a 'hidden gem', a course definitely worth playing. When
developers bought the club's original land in the 1970's it was replaced by a
most wonderful piece of country that now boasts a course to challenge all abilities.

2 Hunstanton Golf Club
Hunstanton is a classic links course that has hosted many major amateur events
and can boast some of the best putting surfaces in England. Visitor play must
be in a 2-ball format and access at weekends is limited. Hunstanton is rated in
the top 100 courses in the British Isles.

3 Royal West
Norfolk Golf Club
A delightful classic links course with over a 100 years of history behind it,
a favourite haunt of the Royal family over the years. Visitor play is always in
2-ball format and access at weekends is very limited.

4 Sheringham Golf Club
One of a quartet of wonderful courses on the north Norfolk coast with over a 100
years of history. Sheringham has hosted many premier amateur events. Limited access
at weekends.

5 Royal Cromer Golf
Club
Granted its royal patronage in 1887 by the Prince of Wales, Royal Cromer offers
some of the most spectacular golf in the east of England. The course is a combination
of links and cliff-top and offers a great variety and challenge to even the most
accomplished of players. Very welcoming to visiting golfers.

6 Royal Norwich Golf
Club
Fairly described as a combination of heathland and parkland golf, the Royal Norwich
Golf Club has in excess of 100 years of history behind it. Limited access at the
weekends and bank holidays.

9 Woburn Golf &
Country Club
Woburn is undoubtedly one of the finest inland facilities in the British Isles.
Two championship courses with a third, The Marquess, opening in the summer of
2000 make Woburn 'top notch'. Playing through a forest of pines every hole is
a challenge. Woburn has played host on numerous occasions to European professional
events. Advance booking is only on a day package basis, 36 holes & lunch.

Several time venue for the Ryder Cup matches, The Belfry offers 3 top quality
